You love and lose and bleed best you can, to the extreme, hoping that one day the world will read you like the poem you want to be.” ― Charlotte Eriksson

In The Dark Of The Night

She sat beneath the light,
In the dark of the night
Dwelling on her fears;
fighting all the tears

Neglecting my surmises,
I left her thoughts alone,
And within silence, she spoke.
And then her demons rose

Her dreams are crushed with anger
by the people that she loved
Now all that she is left with,
is the hope that she can love
is the hope that she can…

She sat beneath the light,
In the dark of the night
Dwelling on her fears;
fighting all the tears

She says she’ll wait for something
That’s gonna set her free
But the truth was simple
Truth is morality

Apart from all the pain
And all the misery
Now all that she is left with,
is the hope she can be free
is the hope she can…
